Pandemic Hair Loss- it's real...

Ugh, this year, right?! Like where do we even start… Between lay offs, kids doing school from home, working from home, businesses closing, not seeing our loved ones, being scared to even walk out the door in the thoughts of getting the “C” word….This ALL causes SO much stress to our emotional and physical well being. Some got hit more then others but we all felt it. I know I sure did and I have to admit, I still am.

So we get it, we are all stressed, yeah? I have talked to countless clients that sit in my chair saying the same thing and asking me the same question, “my hair feels thin, what do I do about it?”

First, lets get your vitamins in check. Best ones for hair are: Fish oil, good multi-vitamin or prenatal and collagen. My favorite clean multi-vitamin is one called Ritual made just for woman, you get a 30 day supply sent to you every month and you don’t even have to think about it. My favorite plant based, non-animal based collagen is Sunwarrior Collagen Peptides. This will start to help your hair grow from the inside out.

Second, we temporarily need to get you on a thinning hair shampoo and treatment regimen for awhile until things get back on track. It can usually take about 6 months to a year for your hair to get back to “normal”. My absolute favorite is Oway Micro-Stimulating Hair Bath and Oway Densifying Remedy or Oway Vivifying Remedy for Sensitive Scalps. I personally have used this and every single one of my family members uses it too. This is an all natural solution, that really works. The thing is, you need to be consistent. That’s how you get things back on track. You can purchase both those products on my “Shop” page on my website and you receive $5 off with every purchase (no code necessary if you use my link).

Third, we all know this but even I need to be reminded over and over….take time to relax. If that’s watching a show that makes you laugh, meditation, yoga, walks outside or snuggling with your pup. We have to find ways to take the stress down to allow the cortisol in our bodies to go down, rather then being at a high state at all times.

Moral of the story is that we all experience this at some time in our lives. Now so much more then ever though. But with a little bit of help from some supplements and some natural hair solutions, I promise you will get back to your old hair self in no time!

If you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask in the comments. You got this though!

Wishing you all the best and so much love,

Adriana
